I'm currently taking a marketing course and when I saw ebay selling tutorials, the two of them are so related that whenever I learn something new I could easily apply it to ebay.nnanyways I wanted to get started with earphones and found a handful of suppliers that accept paypal which is basically the only method of payment I trust and am able to use but whenever I click on start order to see how it works the only options available are ali secure, escrow and e credit lines . nnSo can you please tell me how alibaba actualy works ?nnThanks.

Well done, business orientated, to buy from alibaba, your best bet is buying through escrow it gives you added security incase you are not happy with the product or if any issues, alibaba will not release the money to the seller until you confirm receipt and happy with the products.Alibaba will send you an email to confirm that you are happy with transactions. Hi, although I have never purchased from Alibaba, I have had dealings with the suppliers.rnEach supplier has their own payment terms.rnrnYou must be careful because each supplier also offer different minimum quantities that you must purchase. rnIn most cases you must first contact the supplier with an inquiry.rnrnAlso if you are looking to import products, in order to sell on eBay, I would suggest using a true drop shipper. Alibaba is more of a wholesaler.rnrnAlso, a true drop shipper does not charge any type of additional fees (no membership). You sign up, pick out a piece, place all the info/pic(s) on eBay, sell it and get paid first, then send the purchase cost in and you keep the profit. A drop shipper also ships out the product for you, that way you do not have to hold all that inventory as you would with buying multiple quantities from a wholesaler.rnrnHope that helps. Since your under the legal age of 18 to sign/undertake contracts anything you do is illegal unless you can get a parent/guardian to set up an account in their name(and be responsible for it).nnCreating a Paypal account is in fact signing a contract. Read their T&Cs.
