I don't know about swipebids.com as I've never heard of it before and it has no Google PR score so its not very popular.

alibaba.com however is a reputable product sourcing directory for finding wholesalers locally or abroad. Import and export etc. I used them about 18 months ago and there just a directory of businesses.
