Alibaba is an online marketplace, similar to ebay, except it is for B2B suppliers and buyers. It has an emphasis on listing China factories.
As far as the company, I am not famiiar with them, if they were listed as a "Gold" or "TrustPass" member then the people at Alibaba had checked them out to make sure they existed.
There are many excellent suppliers there. I am an importer and exporter and I have bought products from some alibaba members. but there are also some scam artists working. The best thing to do is to check them out. Contact them, ask for references, check with the Chinese consulate. all the things you should do to verify a supplier you don't know, you should do.
