Is it safe to buy a laptop from alibaba.com?

Question

I am planning on buying a gaming laptop but I stumbled on site called alibaba.com

which is legit but it is B2B operation so buyer beware

anyways I contacted one of the suppliers and its from china.

It has and A&V check and also has a gold membership.

However when they emailed me I noticed they spelled "technology" wrong......

I know its China and all but I think they should get that right... anyways that raised a couple of red flags in my mind and now I am unsure of what to do.

Alibaba has not been good about policing its sellers. The site is full of scammers who will cheat you. Either you will not receive anything or it will not be the item that you ordered. Getting a refund or replacement is very difficult. Pay a little more and buy the computer from a local store.
