How to get my money back from alibaba scam?

Question

Ok i was scammed through alibaba i saw a good deal and jumped in like a noob. The way i paid was through bank Wire transfer so i have this guys bank information he lives in the UK he said he would ship the items the same day. I verified with my bank money made it to his bank and 5 days later and still no tracking number i sent him a few emails but he didnt respond. On alibaba it says his company is here in US but i highly doubt that it actually is, if so i have the address of said company. All i want is my money back the amount i sent him was $1050 USD there has to be a way to do something i have all the emails he sent me and my bank transfer receipt. I worked hard for my money and makes me mad how people can do this. I understand i shouldve researched more and learned my lesson can someone help me. All answers are appreciated thanks.

Making a scammer's scam googlable on every scam-warner-anti-fraud-busting site you can find is a great way to slow that scammer down when a suspicious potential victim goes looking for information, finds your post containing the name the scammer is using, his email address, phone number and the emails themselves and then that potential victim does not become a scam victim because you took the time "get the word out".

Wasting a scammer's time legally and safely is called "scambaiting". If you google that word, you will find sites where you can read scambaits, post up the emails and email addresses of scammers, post up a fake website, read up on how to alert a hosting company that they are hosting a fake website, ask questions and learn all about the hobby of scambaiting.

You should contact alibaba customer service for help.

Recently, it's growing more risky to import directly from China. The "supplier" you find online or in the exhibition fair may be a scammer. The products you're buying may be of poor quality, not like what you've required.

Therefore, the best way to reduce the cost and risk is to find a partner as your "eyes" in China, who could investigate your supplier before your payment and inspect your production before delivery. Such a partner should be professional with rich international business experience. The cost for each on-site inspection with report must be of very low cost, no more than USD 120. The payment for service should be AFTER the satisfaction of importer (Otherwise how could you make sure the business is safe for such a long distance trade?). I can't really give an opinion of Ioffer, but I have a lot of experience selling and buying on Ebay and would have to say Ebay. Ebay has been around for a long while now, and I think that adds to its credibility.
