Has anyone been scammed through Alibaba using paypal?

I just bought a few things on alibaba, i checked everything, phone number, company, email, and i paid through paypal but i am still worried about this purchase... so i want to know if someone has been swindled on alibaba using paypal as payment method...

If they send you an empty box and you accept it, seller can prove they sent you something.
Then they can make a claim in their favor and you arent protected if you receive "the wrong item".
It is a common scam. From the words of a various wise men "There is no such thing as buyer protection, especially from paypal".

Only buy from reputable sellers. Everything has a risk. No risk no profit.

First, you never buy gold for any online game. Secondly, how did you send the payment via paypal? Was it via Gift or payment for goods? If it was by Gift, you're screwed and wont get your money back. If it was a payment for goods, appeal it and tell paypal it was fraudulent/scam and just hope you can get your money back. And, why the heck would you consider showing some one your credit card over the internet? You're just asking to have your identity stolen. |:
